Check out the difference between the factory Goodyear rear tire and themammoth BFGoodrich 315/35ZR17. The new wheels' black finish works wellwith the car's body color. The 17x9-inch and 17x101/2-inch wheels willclear stock (V-6 and GT) and Bullitt/Cobra/Mach 1 brakes. On '99 Cobras,however, a bolt that's part of the independent rear suspension systemwill conflict in the rear with the 17s. A wheel spacer can remedy theproblem, but it's best to use the 18x101/2-inch Bullitts on the '99Cobras.
